In 1974 Clarence & Mickey Harris, founders of Advanced Homes, Inc., moved the business, their family and their base of operations to Lake Havasu City, AZ to help with the building of the 33,000 lot, new desert community of Lake Havasu City.

Jim Harris, President and owner of Advanced Homes, Inc., Advanced Construction Co., Inc. and Broker/Owner of Advanced Real Estate Company is also the licensee for the residential, commercial, general engineering and real estate divisions of the businesses but is more commonly known as “The Builder”.
